Rapids Win Preseason Match and Loan Navarro

Colorado played a scrimmage against Liga MX side Querétaro F.C. today and came out on top 5-1.  They started arguably their best XI of Cole Bassett, Moïse Bombito, Jonathan Lewis, Jasper Löffelsend, Andreas Maxsø, Djordje Mihailovic, Rafael Navarro, Connor Ronan, Keegan Rosenberry, Zack Steffen, and Sam Vines and looked much better than last week.  The game was played as four 25 minute periods.  Bassett and Galvan each got a goal in the first two periods, then Harris got a brace with a Yapi goal in-between in the final period (which is also when Querétaro scored).  Colorado will play one more scrimmage in Mexico on Friday before coming home for a bit next week.

Earlier in the day the team completed the loan of Miguel Navarro to Tallares.  As previously reported its a year-long loan with an option to buy.  I'm assuming the option, or possibly a lower negotiated price, will be taken and Navarro will never play a game in a Rapids uniform.
