If the Rapids are able to sign him and bring him back to the league this is probably a good move. It gives us depth at defender for not a lot of cost, and gives more competition for Ihemelu, Erpen, Harvey, and Kimura.

So what does this leave us as far as picks? One in the second, and two in the fouth?
Appearently, we've decided we have enough young up and comers, and need to look for experienced depth. I can't really argue with this.
I read NY may be looking to trade their 2nd DP slot. I wonder if they would be interested in Gomez. Not that the Rapids would be likely to spend DP money, but still, one can dream.
The Rapids still have a 2nd, a 3rd, and 4 4th round picks.
