Hat-tip to Burgundy Wave for this bit of news. Norwegian TV is reporting that Gilbert Koomson failed his medical check with the Rapids and the deal is off.
That's disappointing and more than a bit concerning. We've only hear 3 names this offseason linked with the Rapids, Adjel-Boateng, Koomson, and Gordon. With camp opening Monday Koomson seemed to be the most likely of the three to have an immediate impact this season. With things falling apart now we have to really hope the Rapids have another surprise in their back pocket. Last preseason nobody heard a word about Gashi until the deal was done, we need another one of those type of deals ASAP.
