As heavily rumored/confirmed over the weekend, the Rapids officially signed Danny Wilson from Rangers today. He's a 26 year old Scottish centerback who has played about half his career at Rangers in two different stints but spent some time being loaned out from Liverpool and at Hearts in-between. He's signed a 3 year deal with a team option for a 4th year. No word on any transfer fee paid but I expect whatever it was was minimal as he would have been out of contract in May and was looking to leave.
With the signing the Rapids now have 25 of 30 roster spots filled and 9 internationals against 7 international slots. Some work to be done there. Oh, and we still need a striker or two.
