Streamed Friendly Tomorrow

The Rapids will stream their Visit Tucson Sun Cup friendly against another team (FSL) tomorrow night at 7pm.  There may be a territorial restriction on the stream requiring you to be within 75 miles of DSG Park.

On Wednesday the Rapids played, and won, two 45 minute scrimmages against FC Tucson and LA Galaxy II.  Against FC Tucson the Rapids lined up with:

Shinyashiki

After giving up an early goal, their first of the preseason, the Rapids came back with two goals from Shinyashiki for the 2-1 win.

Mezquida

(Sam Bassett is Cole's younger brother, getting a taste of preseason as an Academy player)

Mexquida scored early and often, getting his first goal in the 2nd minute and ending up with a hat-trick in a 3-0 win.
