The Bodmer Line started at about 1.21 PPG before the season. Its now at 1.93 PPG. But sitting in the Wooden Spoon spot the playoffs are so far out of reach it doesn't matter. The real problem is that the Rapids now need to match that 1.21 PPG level, essentially play like a playoff team, the rest of the season just to avoid their worst season ever on PPG. And I don't see them doing it. They need 17 points out of their last 14 games, which suggests at least 4 wins. We only have 4 games left against teams not in a playoff position, the first of which is against Portland on Tuesday night. If we can't win that game there's no chance this isn't the worst season in Rapids history.
Just assume there are no Man of the Match awards until we at minimum win a game.
