If the Galaxy doesn't win on Sunday then the winner in Commerce City tomorrow night will end the weekend on top of the West in PPG. Last time Colorado faced SKC was before our 10-day break leading into the 4th of July and we lost 3-1 in KC. We're a different looking team now, and KC will be coming here off a midweek game. The Rapids may have the edge in this one. Kickoff is at 7pm tomorrow and a heads up, I70 us going to be closed Westbound through town this weekend for construction. TV is what it is.

Disciplinary Report:
ONE CAUTION FROM SUSPENSION: M Jack Price
TWO CAUTIONS FROM SUSPENSION: F Diego Rubio
Hard to know exactly what we're going to get tomorrow with so many new players and returning players. I'm guessing we're going to want to get Kaye into the mix immediately, and I think that makes Bassett the odd man out. If Wilson isn't 100% we could see Trusty slide back to CB and Acosta take the LB spot, which would give Bassett an opening. Its too early to see Esteves.
Prediction: 1-1 draw, goal by Barrios. I'm not convinced we're SKC good yet, though the possibility is there. SKC scores almost 2 goals a game, but we have a better defense than them. I think we match up well enough to force an even game, with an even result.

Good to have guys back, exciting to get new ones.
If the Rapids want to be contenders, then this is a game they have to win. If they can't beat KC, at home, then they're not ready to fight for trophies. I can't help but think that they are still 1 year, and 1 striker, away from being a contender. I hope they prove me wrong!
