Blackburn squeak into the FA Cup 5th Round

10 days ago Blackburn escaped from the Stadium of Light with a scoreless draw. After 90 minutes today the teams were still deadlocked at 1 goal apiece. It took until the 209th minute of football in the two games combined for Benni McCarthy to give Blackburn their first lead, and full time was whistled a minute later to put Rovers through to the final 16. Blackburn will host Championship side Coventry City in the 5th Round on Valentine's Day.
