A tweet from Rapids draftee Brandon Fricke's former coach (I'm guessing):

Congrats to Brendan Fricke on signing for the @MLS & the @ColoradoRapids - Adam Nugent believed & believes in you.

So that gives us 8 defenders signed plus two other draftees, trialists Wes Knight and Ben Newnam, Zat Knight, and VDC as possible additions.  At this point I'd be surprised if we signed any of those 6, unless the roster rules allow us to put some of them in Charlotte for the year.  We've got 24 players signed total.
