Isn't that the "Winter is Coming" guy?
Yes, Sean Bean as Richard Sharpe. He played the character in 14(?) made for TV movies in the UK. The series is based on books by Bernard Cornwall that cover the career of a fictional officer in Wellington's army who was given officer status after saving Wellington's life as an enlisted soldier.
