Rapids Fall To Chivas In Las Vegas

Last night in Vegas Colorado lost its first preseason game 2-1.  Both Chivas goals were off penalty kicks, reportedly very soft PKs by those watching the game.  The Rapids goal was from Deshorn Brown in the 16th minute, assisted by Dillon Serna and Vicente Sanchez.  The starting XI was:

Serna - Sanchez - Eloundou

In the 61st minute Colorado swapped all 10 field players:

Despite the score the Rapids had better chances and looked like the better team.  Both Serna and Eloundou particularly stood out for good reasons.  The team returned to Commerce City this morning but they will quickly turn around and head to Tucson for the Desert Diamond Cup tomorrow.
