Colorado's reserves traveled to Houston yesterday for a game this morning. I don't cover reserve games very much here, mainly because the focus of the reserves isn't winning games so much as getting players ready for the first team. in this case the Rapids lost 1-0 on a late goal, but the reason I mention the game is that Edu got the start for the team. Apparently the coaching staff is still interested in him. There was also news today that former U.S. international forward Kamani Hill and former FC Dallas midfielder Scott Jones are in camp.
For the last 5+ years Hill has been with Wolfburg in Germany and Aves in Portugal, but he's only played 20 games with their first teams. He's also had 3 caps for the U.S. National Team. Jones was with Dallas for one season in 2007, playing no first-team games, and has since been with the USL Puerto Rico Islanders. He's also played with the Puerto Rico National Team.
